Introduction and Purpose:

The Lake Band Booster Club ("we", "us", "our", or "Boosters") owns and operates the LakeBandBoosters.org website. This privacy policy discloses the privacy practices for this website, and applies solely to information collected by this website.

Types of Information Collected:

We may collect the following types of personal information:
- Names
- Email addresses
- Phone numbers
- Mailing Addresses
- IP addresses
- Financial transaction data (limited, see below)
- Student Name & Grade (only where necessary to identify a band member)
- Event-specific data (e.g. patron publication name)

How We Collect Data:

We collect user information through online sign-up, donation, and registration forms. These include, but are not limited to: Donations, Patron registration and payment, Scholarship application, Banquet registration and payment, and website login.

Purpose and Usage of Personal Data:

Names are used so we can identify who is donating, registering, or signing up. Names are used to administer the event or activity for which they were submitted; we do not share nor make public these names.

Student Name & Grade are collected only when necessary to designate a transaction toward a particular band member, such as for Banquet registrations, Scholarship applications, or student-related purchases. Student information is restricted, used exclusively for the express designated purpose. The Boosters prohibit sharing of student information, per organizational policies and our Constitution.

For Patrons, the "Publication Display Name" and donation level will be displayed in programs and publications (paper or electronic), and these can be seen by the public. (First/last name and contact info submitted with Patron Registrations are not published nor shared.)

Contact information (email, phone, mailing address) are used to contact you about an activity you signed up for, to discuss questions about your transaction, or to send a receipt, confirmation, or purchased product. Contact information is not used for marketing purposes.

Financial information, limited to purchased product, amount, and date (never credit card information, see below), are used to record the purchase, facilitate delivery of purchased product, and/or to send receipts.

We send Emails with limited data for certain transactions, as necessary to issue receipts and registration/order confirmations. In such cases, the email is sent only to the contact who submitted it, and copied only to authorized Booster representatives (e.g. committee chairperson, Treasurer) designated to administer the event or process the transaction.

We do not currently use mass marketing tools and do not send marketing emails. If we should choose to implement such tools or practices in the future, this policy will be updated and recipients will be provided a simple means to opt out.

Data Sharing and Third Parties:

We do not share and will never sell data to third parties. All personal information is kept private within the Lake Band Boosters, which includes the Booster Officers, Band Directors, and designated parent volunteers. The sharing of student information outside the Boosters is strictly prohibited by organizational policies as defined in our Constitution.

Even within the Boosters, personal data is shared only with those booster Officers and parent volunteers (e.g. Treasurer, Secretary, committee chairperson) who are assigned to administer the particular activity.

Data Retention:

Personal data is retained only for as long as is necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and/or described at the point of data collection. We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies:

Our site uses cookies to help us improve your access, to secure form posts, to identify repeat visitors, and to tailor website settings to your preferences. We do not use third-party ads, third-party tracking cookies, nor other tracking technologies. Anonymous website statistics may be used to improve site performance or identify technical issues. We do not use nor share website statistics for marketing purposes.

Various payment forms are integrated with and facilitated by PayPal, through PayPal-hosted scripts, popup windows, and links. PayPal may use cookies as part of their authentication and payment process, but cookie information is not shared between PayPal and our website. PayPal cookies are governed by PayPal's own privacy policy, and operate between the client and PayPal. We offer PayPal-integrated payments as a convenience, but cannot accept responsibility for PayPal-owned cookies. Visitors may choose not to use PayPal payments on our website, and can pay the Boosters via alternate means such as mailing a check.

Security Measures:

All information exchanged between visitors and this website are protected in transit through HTTPS using TLS/SSL secure encrypted protocols and valid domain certificates. Data is stored on servers in a secure environment accessible only to Boosters IT administrators.

We never store any credit card information, and we never receive credit card details. All online payments are integrated with and managed by PayPal. Card/account data is transmitted directly between the client and PayPal, our site is simply informed by PayPal integration as to whether the payment succeeded or failed.

Your Access to and Control Over Information:

You may opt out of any future contacts from us at any time. You can do the following at any time by contacting a Booster Officer via the email addresses shown on our Contact-Us page:
- See what data we have about you, if any.
- Change/correct any data we have about you.
- Have us delete any data we have about you.
- Express any concern you have about our use of your data.

For website login data, you may see and optionally delete your profile data by clicking on your profile in the upper-right and choosing Manage Profile.

Links to Other Sites:

Our site contains links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click a third party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party sites or services.

Updates to the Privacy Policy:

Our Privacy Policy may change from time to time and all updates will be posted on this website.
