How It Works
It's simple:
- Buy a square (or a few!).
- Let nature do its thing.
- Win cash.
- Support the Lake Band!
Our honorary bovine, Clarabelle, gets led onto a 3′ × 3′ grid painted right on the Lake Band practice field. Whoever owns the square where she drops her first cow patty takes home the grand prize. No nudging, no hurrying — nature sets the pace, and our impartial “Patty Judge” makes the call if the plop lands on a line.
Prizes
- $1,000 Grand Prize — awarded to the owner of the parcel that receives the first cow patty. If the plop lands on a line, our impartial Patty Judge decides which square has the majority of the patty.
- $300 Second Prize — after the first plop, the clock runs another 30 minutes. If Clarabelle drops a second patty in that window, its parcel wins $300.
- Bonus drawings — 50/50 raffle, multiple basket raffles, and more happening on event day.
- No-plop backup plan — in the unlikely event Clarabelle skips her morning routine, every ticket-holder's name goes into a $1,000 raffle drawing. A winner goes home with the grand prize either way.
While You Watch “The Plop”
Come out and cheer Clarabelle on! Grab a fresh cup from Pivot & Grace Coffee and a sweet treat from Peace, Love & Little Donuts — both on site the morning of the event. Family-friendly, low-stakes, high-laughs. Bring a lawn chair and a sense of humor.
The Fine Print (Official Rules)
- A maximum of 625 “land parcel” tickets are available for the 2026 Cow Patty Bingo fundraiser.
- Tickets are sold in numerical order. Assignment of “land parcel” ownership is random and computer-generated at 3:00 PM on Friday, April 24, 2026.
- Clarabelle is led onto the grid-marked field at 9:00 AM on Saturday, April 25, 2026, and remains there for two hours or until the first patty drops — whichever comes first.
- Held rain or shine. The only exception is lightning or thunder. If cancelled for weather, one $1,000 winner is drawn by raffle.
- The winning parcel owner(s) need not be present on the day of the plop, but must show their winning ticket to claim the prize. (Online buyers may show your Confirmation Email or a photo ID with the Name on your purchase form.) Winners must be 18 years or older to receive the cash prize.
